Program Description
One of the many chronic illnesses that spiked during the COVID-19 pandemic was renal failure. This unfortunate phenomenon led to an increase of Dialysis Treatment Centers. The increase of Dialysis Centers created a need for more skilled dialysis technicians to effectively support patients and to deliver a high quality patient experience. Celeebrate Us Workforce Training has partnered with Fresenius Dialysis Centers to offer a Hemodialysis PCT Bridge Program. No prior experience is required to qualify for this wonderful training and employment opportunity. This partnership includes a paid 12 week on site nationally recognized PCT (Patient Care Technician)certification, full-time employment with generous fringe benefits and preferred admissions status into the University of Baltimore’s online undergraduate Health Administration degree program ( FAFSFA) eligibility is required. The Celeebrate Us Workforce Training Hemodialysis Bridge Program trains program participants on how to deliver compassionate and empathetic patient care. Program participants are trained on the 12 core values of enhancing the dialysis patient experience. The Hemodialysis PCT training program is delivered in person onsite at the Dialysis facility and the PET (Patient Experience Technician) training is delivered virtually. This occupational training program also welcomes formally incarcerated individuals looking for a second chance to launch a successful career in healthcare.
