Description of Training Provider
NuPaths is focused on IT workforce development. Its 6-month programs are designed to provide computer training for specific IT job roles. Students have a choice to attend a program online, in a classroom, or in distance learning format.
Program Description
NuPaths prepares you to start a career in information technology and computers. In this 26-week program, you will develop technology skills to start a career as a Digital Marketing Assistant, Digital Marketing Specialist, e-commerce Assistant or Digital Marketing Analyst. You can earn up to six (6) industry certifications from Adobe, Microsoft, and Google, seven (7) college credits, and a “Certificate of Completion” from Harrisburg University.
The Digital Marketing Assistant works closely with the marketing team to implement online marketing plans and strategies. They assist the marketing team to ensure websites are fully optimized for search engines and online advertising, verify that digital marketing ads and campaigns are well designed and that social media channels are optimally used. Additionally, the Digital Marketing Assistant evaluates site analytics and performance to leverage and enhance digital business activities. Students also receive 18 hours of business skills training to prepare them for a professional work environment. The program is available in the classroom and online. Career services support is provided to connect students with employers for internships, apprenticeships, or full-time employment. NuPaths is an approved Pre-Apprenticeship trainer and works closely with multiple regional firms to connect its students to apprenticeship opportunities. Skills & Competencies
The Digital Marketing Assistant program has four courses and is delivered in 166 hours of instructional time. Students learn web design fundamentals using HTML, CSS and Photoshop, online advertising and Google Adwords; search engine optimization and advertising fundamentals, and digital analytics best practices using the Google Analytics platform. They can also earn six industry recognized certifications, seven college credits that are transferable and can be used towards future post-secondary education, and a Certificate of Completion from Harrisburg University.
