Description of Training Provider

NuPaths is focused on IT workforce development. Its programs are designed to provide computer training for specific IT job roles within 6-months. Students have a choice to attend a program online, in a classroom, or in distance learning format.

Program Description

NuPaths prepares you to start a career in information or business technology and computers. In 26-weeks, you will develop software testing, technology and computer skills to start a career as a Software Tester, Functional Analyst, Testing Analyst, or Quality Assurance Test Analyst. You can earn up to 6 industry certifications from CompTIA , Microsoft, ISTQB and IAPM, 10 college credits, and a “Certificate of Completion” from Harrisburg University. 
 
The Software Testing Analyst is responsible for the design, implementation, and execution of software testing to support IT and business processes. In addition, they use spreadsheets and databases to visualize data for reporting. Students also receive 18 hours of business skills training to prepare them for a professional work environment. The program is available online or in-person. 
 
Career services are provided to connect grads with employers for internships, apprenticeships, or full-time employment. NuPaths is an registered pre-apprenticeship trainer and works with multiple employers to connect grads to apprenticeships.

Skills & Competencies

The Software Testing Analyst program has 4 courses and is delivered in 216 hours of instruction. Students learn information technology foundations; data capture, organization and presentation;  project management fundamentals; and agile project management. You can also earn 5 industry certifications, 9 college credits that are transferable and can be used towards future post-secondary education, and a Certificate of Completion from Harrisburg University.
