Description of Training Provider

SCTC provides secondary and post-secondary technical training programs and is approved by the PA Dept. of Education, The PA Board of Nursing, and is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.

Program Description

Course will encompass the disciplines of Drafting and Design and Carpentry Technology into a cross training curriculum. Students will learn to read and design blueprints both through hand drawings and computer-aided programs. Students will also learn skills in residential and commercial carpentry, including wood-working, roofing, framing, drywall installation and finishing, and cabinet installation.

Blueprint reading, Auto CAD, Inventor, residential and commercial construction skills, and basic woodworking skills
