Description of Training Provider

Post-secondary adult continuing education and workforce training.

Program Description

Each individual will receive 60 hours of classroom training to include knowledge about air brakes, doubles/triples, tankers, and hazmat endorsements, and 140 hours of road and range driving. Upon completion of the program, each individual will have received the knowledge and skills required to pass the written exam and tactile test to receive their Class A CDL, with air brakes, tankers, doubles/triples, and hazmat endorsements.

The program will provide individuals with the skills and knowledge necessary to gain employment with national, regional, and local companies. 

Skills & Competencies

The objective of this program is to prepare the individual to acquire their Class A CDL in the state of PA, with their air brakes, doubles/triples, tankers, and hazmat endorsements.

The program will have a focus on over-the-road driving that will include industry awareness and DOT safety/regulations. Each individual will receive 60 hours of classroom training to include knowledge about air brakes, doubles/triples, tankers, and hazmat endorsements, and 140 hours of road and range driving. Upon completion of the program, each individual will have received the knowledge and skills required to pass the written exam and tactile test to receive their Class A CDL, with air brakes, tankers, doubles/triples, and hazmat endorsements.
