Program Description
Training with Training Provider PENN CDL
According to the new FMCSA rules of February 7, 2022, it will be possible to get a CDL only if you complete a training program on the theory of ELDT and practical driving lessons from FMCSA Training providers registered in FMCSA.
PENN CDL not only meets the specified requirements but also offers you training with English/Russian-speaking instructors and the services of an affiliate program for taking online ELDT tests in English and Russian.
During the training, you will pass:
Pre-trip inspection- Preparation before trip, the study of the components, the structure of the truck, the structure of the air brake system.
Inspection of truck and trailer, air brake system inspection, and air brake test. Internal exam.
Forward and Backward Driving-Driving forward and backward, Offset/ Parallel parking- Parallel parking in both directions, Alley Dock Parking- Reverse parking at 90 degrees, Citi driving-City driving.
Internal exam- Passing an internal exam. Final Exam-Examination at the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV).
Skills & Competencies
Students will gain the following skills:
Pre-trip inspection
Parking driving maneuvers on truck with trailer
Road driving on truck with trailer
Know full ELDT theory and be prepared to pass the final exam at DMV
We also certify students in FMCSA for the final exam for CDL class A
