Program Description

Registered nursing is a scientific discipline that is practice-oriented and provides health services to individuals and families. The program prepares graduates to participate in health promotion, maintenance, and restoration in a variety of health care settings. Graduates are eligible to write the National Council Licensure Exam as a professional registered nurse.

Skills & Competencies

Emphasis is placed on the skills involved in decision-making and critical thinking, while hands-on skills include physical assessment, interpretation of lab data, and all delivery forms of medicine (IV, IM, oral, and topical).
