Program Description
The Medical Billing and Coding program is designed to provide the student with the knowledge and hands-on skills necessary to build a successful career in Medical Billing and/or Medical Coding. The program prepares the student to work in the medical billing department, the medical coding department, and also in a variety of health care settings. Graduates will be qualified for entry level employment in the healthcare community in positions which include Medical Biller, Medical Coder, Billing Specialist and Medical Records Assistant.
