This program prepares students for employment in the healthcare industry. Skills are developed in medical terminology, typical medical office procedures and software, medical billing codes and insurance billing. Students will learn how to analyze medical records and assign codes that classify diagnoses and procedures. Program prepares students to sit for the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) Certified Professional Coder (CPC) Exam.
