Description of Training Provider

Program Description

The student will enter the first 6 week program to receive training in different aspects of machining, including print reading, hand tool use, manual mill, manual lathe, grinder and band saw. The students will then enter the next 6 weeks to focus on learning g-code to program Computer Numerical Control (CNC) mill and lathe. The final 6 weeks will be an instructor led course with independent study, to program projects through the use a CAD/CAM program - Mastercam.
