Description of Training Provider

WACTC offers programs that consist of theory and hands-on training. Students will obtain education and skills to enter into the workforce. WACTC is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.

Program Description

Welding students receive instruction in oxy-fuel and plasma cutting. Instruction is provided for stick, M.I.G. and T.I.G. welding of steel, aluminum and stainless steel. Preparation for welding certification is provided. Blueprint and fitting skills are included in the instruction.

Skills & Competencies

Fundamentals of manual arc welding in all positions and in the cutting of steel with an oxy-acetylene torch
