Description of Training Provider
Program Description
This career track aligns with skills possessed by many at-risk and low-wage workers, including retail workers, tellers, office clerks, support staff and data entry keyers. Peirce College will allow you to earn college credits for the skills you already have that map to a new career in project management and complete the training and credentials you still need to qualify for employment in this field. You will be able to demonstrate core competencies, such as identifying system dynamics that affect an organization, applying operations management to supply chain management, evaluate structures, governance, risk and much more. Students in the Project Management track earn up to 19 stackable credits, including a Project Management Undergraduate Certificate, which apply directly to undergraduate degree programs at Peirce College. Students will also take the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) exam offered by the Project Management Institute, which is recognized by employers around the country and enhances your credibility and effectiveness working on project teams. It is an ideal credential for career changers interested in gaining competencies in project management. Peirce awards three credits for the CAPM Certification. Finally, Peirce counselors will help you with employment opportunities, applying for jobs, preparing for interviews, and leveraging our alumni network.
