MedCerts is an online training provider specializing in Allied Health and Information Technology programs, delivered through self-paced asynchronous delivery.
Program Description
The RX-3000 Pharmacy Technician Professional program provides training of the highest standard, as defined by the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP). This program will include three learning components Didactic (Instruction) 410 hours, Simulation/lab 102 hours, and an Externship 160 hours for a total of 672 program hours. The ASHP recognizes programs that meet their quality and compliance standards through formal accreditation. The MedCerts Pharmacy Technician Professional program has been formally accredited by the ASHP. In addition to preparing graduates for a career in Pharmacy. the preparation, registration and cost associated with the Pharmacy Technician Certification Examination (PTCE) administered by the PTCB is covered by MedCerts.
