Program Description
The CNC machining industry utilizes precision equipment to transform engineers' and designers' visions into finished products. This training focuses on the skills that are in demand and required by high-tech modern manufacturing businesses in the local area. This class will teach advanced CNC Mill setup and part inspection procedures along with advanced manual programming techniques, the use of the Cartesian coordinate system, the use G and M codes, and canned cycles used on the CNC Mill. A National Institute of Metal Working Skills (NIMS) CNC Mill Operations Certificate can be earned in this class.
