Program Description

The EMT course provides a basic foundation for emergency care and prepares an emergency responder to emergency care and prepares an emergency responder to intervene in a medical or trauma emergency. Students who successfully complete the course will be eligible for NREMT credentialing exams for EMT certification.

Skills & Competencies

Students are prepared in medical emergencies, treatment of trauma emergencies, obstetrics, behavioral emergenices, EMS operations, rescue, incident management. CPR; BVM ventilation and airway management, patient assessment; vital and diagnostic signs.
