Description of Training Provider

Delaware County Community College is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, Commission on Higher Education, 3624 Market Street, Philadelphia PA 19104

Program Description

Student training will start in the classroom, where they will learn about the vehicles, basic truck driving controls, pre-trip inspection, cargo handling, emergency protocol and more. Students will then move to the driving range, where they will practice mastering operation and control of the vehicle. Finally, students of this program take their newly acquired skills on the road, with our experienced instructors by their side, guiding them through what they need to know to be successful. Upon graduation, students receive a diploma and have the skills they need to obtain their commercial license and land an entry-level position in commercial trucking. Skills & Competencies

Upon graduation, the student will have the skills necessary to obtain a Class A Commercial Driver's License and will be capable of obtaining entry-level employment as a Class A driver.
