Description of Training Provider
Our Tractor Trailer Driver 240 Hour course involves classroom, maintenance, range and road operation according to Professional Truck Driver Institute standards. Diploma and PTDI certificate awarded at completion of the course.
Program Description
The Tractor Trailer (CDL-A) / Heavy Equipment 480 program is developed for people wishing to enter the tractor trailer industry with basic equipment skills to load, transport and operate equipment. It provides a sound foundation of entry level knowledge and skills for those individuals seeking to enter this profession. The student will acquire the skills to operate a tractor trailer and pass a commercial drivers exam in accordance with the Department of Transportation rules and regulations. A CDL A license is awarded upon successful completion by Penn Dot . Upon completion the student will be able to operate a dozer, backhoe and excavator with the skills necessary to accomplish tasks intelligently, safely and precisely. A diploma will be awarded at the end of the 480 hour program.
