Description of Training Provider
MedCerts is an online training provider specializing in Allied Health and Information Technology programs, delivered through self-paced asynchronous delivery.
Program Description
The Pharmacy Technician Specialist is designed to equip the student with the knowledge required to gain the Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or the National Healthcareer Association’s (NHA) exam. The PTCB’s exam is recognized in all 50 States, and may be required to operate as a Pharmacy Technician in certain States as defined by each State Board of Pharmacy. While we highly recommend the PTCB’s exam, students are equally prepared for the ExCPT exam which is also widely recognized. The registration and cost of EITHER of these certification exams is covered by MedCerts.
