Description of Training Provider
Lackawanna College is approved by the Pennsylvania State Department of Education to grant degrees and is accredited by the Commission on Higher Education of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.
Program Description
This program is designed to prepare students to re-enter the workforce with a broad range of knowledge in both the Medical field as well as the business community. Students will receive instruction in the following areas: Microsoft Office Suite, (Introductory and Advanced) Principles of Management, Office Technology, Math of Finance, Accounting, Computerized Accounting, Management Information Systems, Human Resource Management, Medical Terminology, Anatomy & Physiology and Medical Billing & Coding. In addition, this program will offer Certification exams for both Microsoft Office (MOS Certifications) and the CCA exam (Certified Coding Associate).
