The IT Security Analyst program has four courses and is delivered in over 218 hours of instructor led teaching. Students learn skills to monitor computer networks, user applications and data to identify and defend against any cyber threats to a business. They can also earn five (5) industry recognized certifications, eight college (8) credits that are transferable and can be used towards future education, and a “Certificate of Completion” from Harrisburg University. Potential Certifications: 1. CompTIA IT Fundamentals, 2. CompTIA Network+, 3. CompTIA Security+, 4. Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, 5. Microsoft Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals. Computer Hardware Experience Gained: Wireless router/switch, External storage, Mobile devices, Network ports. Software & Tools Experience Gained: Azure, Cloud, Network management DNS, TCP/IP, Network protocols and topologies, Active Directory, System recovery, Firewalls, Social engineering, Application/service attacks, Wireless attacks, Vulnerability scanning and Security architecture, Identity and access management, Risk management, Cryptographic attacks and PKI, Anti-virus and Anti-malware software, Penetration testing.
