Program Description
The objective of the PC Applications Program is to offer keyboarding, Windows, Microsoft Office applications and Job Readiness. This objective is obtained by creating a learning plan that is most consistent with his/her occupational and individual needs. The program will prepare students for entry level positions in the business field in a variety of different types of professional offices. MS Office applications available are Word, Excel, Access, Outlook and PowerPoint. Students must complete at least two applications from Basic to Advanced to meet the graduation requirements as well as Windows and the Job Readiness course.
Skills & Competencies
This program contains at least two Basic to Advanced levels of Microsoft Office that may include Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook as well as Windows, Job Readiness and keyboarding. Individual course and level choices are determined by an individual learning plan that considers the student's background and occupational needs.
