Program Description

This 4-month program includes two courses. The first course, English for Pharmacy Technician, will be a foundational course providing contextualized English language instruction and industry-specific terminology to ensure the students’ success in the Pharmacy Technician course. The second course, Pharmacy Technician, will build on the concepts introduced during the English for Pharmacy Technician. This course will include the necessary training for the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) exam. This program also includes support from Bucks County Community College Career Services. Students will receive counseling on the employment process, resume writing, interviewing, applications, and access to our Handshake platform, which connects employers and job seekers.  At the completion of this program, students will be prepared to start their career as a bilingual Pharmacy Technician.
