Program Description
Train with a licensed professional and learn all the necessary state and federal regulations regarding tractor trailer driving. CABOCES prepares students to earn their CDL permit and Class A license with air brake endorsement. Students gain knowledge through classroom and lab instruction, highway, city and range driving time with a qualified instructor. Course topics include log books, map reading & trip planning, pre & post-trip inspection, shifting techniques, right & left turns, backing in straight & curved lines, parallel parking, alley docking, coupling & uncoupling trailers, lane control, city, rural & interstate driving
