Description of Training Provider

Program Description

This course will provide entry-level project managers with the knowledge and skills take the Project Management Institute’s nationally recognized Project Management Professional (PMP) exam. This credential is considered the standard of excellence in the field of project management and is often a required credential in the field. This comprehensive course will use online learning activities, practice exams, and assignments to help students prepare for the PMP exam. To apply for the PMP, students will need to have either: A secondary degree (high school diploma, associate’s degree, or the global equivalent) with at least five years of project management experience, with 7,500 hours leading and directing projects and a minimum of 35 hours of project management education. OR A four-year degree (bachelor’s degree or the global equivalent) with at least three years of project management experience, with 4,500 hours leading and directing projects and a minimum of 35 hours of project management education.
