Program Description
The Clinical Medical Assistant program is designed to provide the student with the knowledge and skills needed to apply for an entry-level position in this industry.
Skills & Competencies
As part of this program, students will take courses in Medical Terminology, Anatomy & Physiology, Phlebotomy, Pathophysiology, Pharmacology, Medical Law & Ethics, Medical Billing, and Coding. In addition, three clinical courses that include learning and practicing a variety of hands on skills used to assist the physician are part of this program.
