Description of Training Provider

SCTC provides secondary and post-secondary technical training programs and is approved by the PA Dept. of Education, The PA Board of Nursing, and is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.

Program Description

Course will encompass the disciplines of Carpentry and Electrical Technology in a cross training curriculum. Each segment will provide theory and actual lab experience in residential and commerical construction.  Skills include roofing, framing, drywall installation, bleuprint reading, wiring, Arc Flash, and solar and wind energy installaion/maintenance.

Skills & Competencies

Students will learn skills related to residential and commercial building and repair, woodworking, and residential and industrial wiring.
