Description of Training Provider

SCTC provides secondary and post-secondary technical training programs and is approved by the PA Dept. of Education, The PA Board of Nursing, and is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.

Program Description

Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, & Refrigeration (HVAC/R) students will learn how to install and repair heating, central air conditioning, HVAC, and refrigeration systems, including oil burners, hot-air furnaces, and heating stoves.

Skills & Competencies

This course uses NCCER curriculum to teach basic installation, maintenance, and repair techniques for heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and refrigeration systems according to EPA standards.
