Program Description
An Associate Degree program, which includes an internship. Tutoring services are available to all students. This program prepares graduates for responsible entry-level positions as a medical front office assistant, receptionist, medical billing and collections, appointment scheduler, medical records clerk, or medical transcriptionist in a variety of healthcare settings including physicians offices, medical centers, clinics, hospitals, nursing homes, ambulatory care centers, and medical billing offices. The program is competency-based in medical studies, along with general education courses that add to a well-rounded graduate who will be qualified to work in many fields of medical employment. After graduating, students may take advantage of unlimited placement services and ongoing brush up courses at no additional cost.
