Description of Training Provider
We are a school that teaches Commercial Truck Driving, Welding, and Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning Refrigeration. The school is accredited by ACCSC.
Program Description
The Welding Technician Program was designed to train students in the activities related to the design, production, performance, and maintenance of welded products. Through lecture, lab, and homework assignments, students gain an understanding of modern welding processes. The successful graduate is trained to enter the welding profession as an entry-level welder. Welders may work on various structures; including but not limited to bridges, buildings, pressure vessels and heat exchangers. These students will receive a diploma upon graduation.
Skills & Competencies
The Welding Technician program was designed to train students in the activities related to the design, production, performance, and maintenance of welded products. Through lecture, lab, and homework assignments, students gain an understanding of modern welding processes. The successful graduate is trained to enter the welding profession as an entry-level welder. Welders will work on various structures; including but not limited to bridges, buildings, pressure vessels and heat exchangers. This would include welding items such as nuclear systems, boilers, storage vessels, transmission and distributing piping, transportation vehicles for water, land air and space travel, and production and processing machines of all times. The curriculum provides students with a foundation in industrial welding techniques, craft skills, welding mathematics, and career development.
