Program Description

The Pharmacy Technician Training Program is a comprehensive 50 hour course which will prepare students to enter the pharmacy field and to take the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board's PTCB exam.  Upon successful completion of the program, students will be awarded a Certificate of Completion.

Skills & Competencies

Reading and interpreting prescriptions; defining drugs by generic and brand names; dosage calculations; I.V. flow rates; drug compounding; dose conversions; dispensing of prescriptions; invenotry control; billing and reimbursement.
