The function of a Showroom Sales Associate is to provide an excellent customer experience for those visiting the Eastern Surfaces showroom. The Showroom Sales Associate is expected to uphold Eastern Surfaces’ best practices Athat ensure meeting management and customer expectations.

 

Primary responsibilities

  • Greet and assist customers in the showroom with project needs
  • Complete appropriate paperwork: Customer Worksheet, Sign-Offs, Material Tagging Form, Marble Policy, Remnant Policy, etc.
  • Become knowledgeable and well-versed in the products displayed to confidently discuss and educate the customer on their options
  • Show slab and remnant inventory and complete Tagging process with customers
  • Hand-in completed paperwork to either estimating or assigned account manager. Provide additional assistance in the event information is either incomplete or unclear
  • Enter customer information into Lead and New Quote sections in Moraware when appropriate
  • Continue to build rapport with customer throughout selling process through communication of WIS quotes, phone calls. Emails, and any additional showroom visits
  • Assist with customer sample requests without loaning from showroom master sets.
  • Close walk-in retail sales complete with signed quote and deposit before submitting to Retail Account Manager for job creation.
  • Coordinate sales efforts with other departments as needed
  • Keep showroom neat and well-organized on a daily basis. Replace samples and literature to their proper locations upon completion of customer interaction
  • Assist with assorted office tasks as designated by management – filling, lead follow-up, etc.
  • Incoming / outgoing emails
  • Incoming / outgoing calls

Secondary responsibilities

  • Assisting front desk as needed
  • Additional Tasks assigned by Management
