     Our Lehigh Valley facility, located in Breinigsville, PA, is currently looking for NIGHT SHIFT PACKAGING/PRODUCTION TECHNICIANS to join our team.  This 300,000 square foot plant has (4) production lines and is capable of producing up to 40 million cases per year. This volume represents more than 45% of Ocean Spray s North American volume and is operated with a workforce of approximately 185 employees.

     JOB SUMMARY:

     The successful candidate will be responsible to learn to operate all equipment in the bottling area, operate a forklift as required, assist in line changeovers and perform level one PM's while maintaining a high level of safety and quality awareness.

     * Must maintain excellent attendance reliability.

     * Must be able to work in a 24/7 environment, 12hr nights, every other weekend, and possibly some holidays.

     * Ability to work overtime for vacation coverage and training purposes.

     * Perform Cleaning In Place (CIP) in all required areas.

     * Ensure compliance with all Safety and Quality standards, processes, procedures.

     * Become familiar with and learn to operate multiple machine centers to promote cross-functional skills

     * Blow Molder, Filler, Labeler, Casepacker, Multipacker, Palletizer, Depallitizer, Straw Applicator, etc.

     * Ensure proper operation of equipment (fill temperature, fill weights, torques, etc.)

     * No deviation from required documentation/ensure information is timely, accurate and complete.

     * Assume a leadership role for determining problem-solving solutions which reduce costs, enhance line reliability, ensure quality, maximize yields, and minimize material usage.

     * Communicate with all operators on the same shift and between shifts to ensure continuous line productivity and effective operations.

     EDUCATION:

     * High school diploma or equivalency
