Job Summary:
Processes and prepares specimens/slides for transport and/or analysis. Performs technical duties relative to basic quality control and waives testing under direct supervision.

Education - Required:

High School Diploma/GED Experience - Required:

4 years of healthcare experience. Experience - Preferred:

2 years of experience in a laboratory

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - Required:

Ability to read, understand, and speak basic English.

Demonstrated basic computer skills, including the use of email.

Ability to perform basic math skills.

Exercises sound judgment in decision making.

Additional Qualifications:

Successful completion of role orientation and ongoing in-service and continuing education programs.
