This is a full time position, hours 7am to 4pm and offers competitive pay and benefits.Steel and Metal Services of PottsvilleServices Company is a full line steel service center.  We have a large warehouse with a large inventory of plate, bar, angle, sheet, pipe and tubing. We have the capability to waterjet, laser, plasma, shear, and saw cut. We also have a full fabrication department.

This position requires assisting on our shop floor, traffic office and some clerical duties.

Responsibilities:

Help load and unload trucks.

Check in material by measuring, counting and weighing.

Get weights and dimensions for outbound shipments.

Receive material in our steel computer software system.

Process test reports documentation.

Expedite vendor purchase orders.

Assist with organizing daily order delivery and pickups.

Communicate any issues with our sales and purchasing departments.

Help with paperwork flow and files.

Requirements:
