Guilford Performance Textiles by Lear Corporation is a supplier of textiles to the global automotive industry as well as to industrial and medical markets in the U.S. With revenues of approximately $350million and 1500 employees worldwide, we have two manufacturing facilities in the US and one in the UK. This position is located in our Pine Grove, Pennsylvania facility, which is approximately 30 minutes northeast of Harrisburg, the state capitol of Pennsylvania. Pine Grove also has easy access to both Baltimore and Philadelphia, both of which are about two and one-half hours from the facility. Our Pine Grove facility develops and manufactures a wide array of products for the Company's Specialty Products Group.

Production Team Leader - 2nd, 3rd and Weekend Shift Opportunties available.

Starts at $20.50 an hour, plus shift differentials.

Ensure accountability, transparency, and effective communication cross-functionally and within team while ensuring information is timely, clear and accurate. Coaching and developing team to high performance; foster a team ownership culture that ensures compliance with all Corporate and Local policies, procedures and regulations. Supply the highest level of both internal and external customer service. Effectively recognize and reward performance. The coach/team leader must measure and communicate the team's progress against individual, team and site goals. The coach/team leader will perform all other job duties on an as needed basis.

Responsibilities:

Instruct associates on output, quality and processes providing for growth and development of all associates.

Assign work and adjust to meet changing requirements.

Train associates.

Tour assigned areas and review housekeeping, productivity, quality, ensure safety, and address employee relation issues as necessary.

Administrate necessary paperwork on shift, machine reports, overtime, vacations, etc.

Maintain clean work environment in departmental area in accordance with 5S standards.

Foster an environment focused on Continuous Improvement.

Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.

Experience with Kronos timekeeping system preferred.

Exceptional work performance and attendance record.

Solid leadership skills; able to lead by example and effective communicating.

Physically able to work hands-on in a manufacturing environment - manual dexterity, visual acuity and speed.

Ability to follow specific written work instructions and record data and information.

Strong communication skills, verbal and written.

Previous supervisor/leader experience preferred.
