This position is located in our Pine Grove, Pennsylvania facility, which is approximately 30 minutes northeast of Harrisburg, the state capitol of Pennsylvania. Pine Grove also has easy access to both Baltimore and Philadelphia, both of which are about two and one-half hours from the facility. Our Pine Grove facility develops and manufactures a wide array of products for the Company's Specialty Products Group.

Sr. Human Resources Specialist
Guilford Performance Textiles, by Lear Corporation: Pine Grove, Pennsylvania

As a member of the Human Resources team, the Sr. HR Specialist will be responsible forperforming all HR-related duties on a professional level. Reporting to the Human Resources Manager this position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: employee relations, training, performance management, benefits administration onboarding, policy implementation, recruitment, affirmative action, and employment law compliance. Responsibilities are varied, requiring a high degree of confidentiality, discretion, independent judgment, and multitasking.

The Role:

Your work will include, but not be limited to:

Serves as a link between management and employees by handling questions, resolving work related problems, and interpreting and administering the collective bargaining agreement and other company policies

Assists and/or administers disciplinary action as required

Conducts investigations related to filed complaints as required

Manages the New Hire Training and Onboarding programs.

Conducts full cycle recruitment for all salaried and non-union hourly positions.

Assists in maintaining the human resource information system (PeopleSoft/SuccessFactors) to process new hires, changes, terminations, transfers, promotions, etc.

Conducts and provides continuous improvement to our New Hire Orientation program.

Utilize Kronos system for attendance and timekeeping.

Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.

Perform any other duties or responsibilities as required

Your Qualifications:

4+ years' experience in Human Resources, PHR/SPHR certification preferred

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of experience and education.

Strong knowledge of hiring processes and applicant tracking system experience.

Kronos experience preferred

Understanding of HR best practices and current regulations

High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Customer focused attitude
