DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
Deliverables/Principal Results Expected:
 * Answer phone calls, complete documentation and filing as needed to support medical staff at facility.
 * Complete medical records.
 * Assist with admissions and consent process for clients and ongoing during medical appointments.
 * Obtain vital signs and Urine Screens and document outcomes appropriately for medical team review.
 * Complete lab requisitions on admission and as needed, monitor outcomes and review with medical team as needed.
 * Create and distribute client packets.
 * Maintain safe physical environment for all clients.
 * Maintain therapeutic relationship with clients and effectively communicate and document changes to client status in chart and/or to treatment team.
 * Support prior authorization and medication ordering process as needed.
 * Schedule follow up medical appointments and make external referrals for clients as directed from medical team.
 * All other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Education, Experience:
Medical Assistant degree/certification or equivalent. Drug and Alcohol/ Mental Health experience. Knowledgeable of HIPAA regulations and applicable laws/ regulations, DDAP, CARF, General Office Skills and Organizational ability.
