Responsibilities:

  • Understand client goals/objectives and properly convey them to the Crew
  • Build out proposals for clients based on time and equipment needs (We will train you on our software)
  • Provide proposals to clients in a timely manner
  • Consult with client - answer client questions and advise on current and future projects
  • Work with Foremen to make sure the week runs smoothly-making sure profitability and efficiency goals are met
  • Work with Office Administrator for scheduling jobs for the week, equipment repairs, and purchase orders
  • Participate in Marketing and Business Development activities including canvassing and generating leads
  • Network throughout the community and prospect for new business while maintaining and building positive relationships with clients
  • Weekly meeting with Owner to make sure sales goals are on track
  • Expand our seasonal Tree Planting and Plant Health Care activities-increase number of clients and grow the program

Required Skills:

  • Knowledge of Arboriculture, Urban forestry, Forestry or Landscaping
  • Tree identification (preferred)
  • Knowledge (or willingness to learn) proper pruning techniques in addition to pest/disease identification and treatment
  • ISA certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Ability to Lead/Manage
  • Excellent time-management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work as part of a collaborative team
  • Proficient in basic computer skills (Word, Email, Excel, Google drive)

Additional Requirements:

  • Valid Driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a driver physical
  • Currently reside in or plan to relocate to the Bloomsburg, PA area

Experience:

  • 1-3 years relevant work experience
  • 1-3 years experience in a leadership role (preferred)
  • Experience working in a team environment

Education:

  • 2 year Associate's degree (or equivalent work experience)
