Position Summary:

Our Digital Commerce team is continually making enhancements to our custom E-Commerce platform to provide our customers with a best-in-class experience. Whether we're creating innovative search features to help customers find scarce product during a pandemic, or incorporating Progressive Web App technology into our platform, our team is constantly pushing forward.

We are expanding our Digital Commerce team and we're looking for new talent who can excel in a Lean Start-up environment within an established company that has been serving the dental industry for over 90 years.

As a Product Owner, you will lead the alignment and vision of Benco's Digital Products, overseeing the end-to-end delivery and development of Benco's digital software solutions. The role will work to ensure that our customer needs are met with engaging, intuitive experiences, and innovative features. The Product Owner collaborates with business units outside of IT and early adopter customers; ensuring Benco solidifies its digital offering as the best and easiest platform in the dental space. The Product Owner partners with peers in IT to maintain an agile development culture, incremental product delivery (MVP), user story definition and testing, automated delivery, and customer adoption techniques via change management.

Exhibits strong presentation and meeting facilitation skills. Comfortable negotiating with and presenting to business leaders and customers.

Ability to prioritize competing tasks from different stakeholders and effectively communicate the "why" behind the prioritization.

Strong initiative around maintaining and enhancing both business and technical skills.

Able to establish credibility with customers, partners, and colleagues and to influence a diverse group of stakeholders.

An entrepreneurial spirit and drive with the ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment.

Do These Responsibilities Interest YOU?

Responsible for articulating and interpreting the product vision into feature(s) and tactics for digital products, and effectively engaging the team members and business stakeholders.

Partner with the strategic team governing digital products and facilitate the execution of the product roadmap, being held accountable for achieving targeted business outcomes including revenue and customer satisfaction.

Drive customer growth strategy by leveraging available data to understand and report on performance, and identify opportunities, including gathering competitive intelligence.

Partner with Sales Team and Business Development for customer demos, pre-sale presentations, and post-sale customer support.

Meet with customers in order to elicit product requirements for inclusion in the roadmap.

Develops and leverages internal and external partnerships, collaborates effectively across Sales, Marketing and Business Development to maximize attainment of business goals via Lean Startup principles.

Translates broad strategy into actionable plans and next steps that can be implemented by individuals or small teams.

Manage, track, and communicate project issues and risks, escalating when necessary.

Travel is approximately 5-10%

Do YOU Meet These Requirements?

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Marketing, or equivalent

Experience:

3-5 years in product owner role, software development role, or software sales role
