Manufacturing / Distribution Company located in Whitehall Allentown, PA is looking for a serious, dedicated and loyal individual to handle day to day material movement in our Fabric Cutting and Distribution Warehouse.

Reporting to and working closely with supervision of the Facility Manager, this position is involved on the floor in all aspects of Material handling. Company has an excellent benefits package, such as Health Insurance, 401(K) Plan, and year-end bonus. When applying please note salary requirement.

Primary Responsibility:

The Warehouse Associate will handle Receiving, Allocating, Storing, Stocking and Shipping of goods to include raw materials, fabrics (rolls and cut parts), components for sewing.

Duties include:

• Help and assist in all day to day warehouse tasks
• Involved with all incoming and outgoing shipments
• Documents shipping with packing lists, bill of ladings and other paperwork
• Responsible for all inventories (finished goods and raw materials) including cycle counts
• Optimizes staging, storage and movement of goods
• Responsible for all inventory replenishment
• Communicates with production personnel to resolve any issues
• Maintains clean warehouse and monitors safety
• Performs additional duties as required and or requested

Skills:

• MUST work independently AND follow direction of manager
• MUST be able to lift over 40 Lbs.
• Excellent mathematical and organizational skills
• Knowledge of warehouse moving equipment. Forklift certification is a PLUS
• Bilingual and knowledge of Spanish is a PLUS
• Must be able to communicate well
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word is a PLUS
• Knowledge of Radio Frequency, Hand Held Devices and how to use them is a PLUS
• Understanding of WMS (warehouse management systems) systems is a PLUS
