Field Service Technician

 

Summary

The Field Service Technician is accountable to ensure timely response to all service requests for customer sites. Overall responsibility includes ensuring the needs for any repairs for issues that are reported, and the appropriate repairs to be completed. The Field Service Technician is responsible for maintaining current accurate equipment and inventory, as well as timely and accurate documentation and records.

Responsibilities

Field Service Technician at Nexii will:

  • Respond to all service requests in a timely manner, reporting to and keeping the Project Manager up to date, and keeping accurate documentation. As well as ensure any parts/equipment used are appropriately accounted for.
  • Interact with the team and on-site crews in a positive and easy-to-understand manner.  
  • Maintain ability to work regular hours, out of town Monday thru Thursday, Fridays when approved.
  • When fieldwork is minimal you will work in the shop.
  • Willing to travel weekly when needed, with Company vehicle and tools.
  • Expenses Paid when out of town.
  • Conduct field repairs to our Nexii Panel along with additional site work involved with our Nexii Panels.
  • Able to use tools, including basic power tools.
  • Able to work with a concrete substitute material.
  • Ability to work on ladders, lifts, and scaffolding, when needed.
  • Ability to work outside and inside in all weather conditions when necessary.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to company policies.
  • Adhere to specific deadlines and timelines.
  • Maintain company-provided vehicle, fuel card, and tools.
  • Maintain technical and product knowledge on all equipment. Additional duties and responsibilities as needed.

 

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • All types of weather conditions (year-round)
  • Dirt/Dust
  • Noise from heavy machinery, vehicles
  • Uneven ground including loose dirt and rocks
  • Heavy equipment and vehicles such as trucks, cranes, lifts, etc. will be present at the site.

 

Qualifications

A Field Service Technician at Nexii should have:

Education

Any combination of technical school, and or, practical experience (preferred)

Experience
Prior construction work (preferred)

Concrete finishing work (preferred)
Familiarity with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office (preferred)
OSHA 10 (Preferred)

Harness and Rigging (Preferred)

 

Skills & Knowledge (required)

 

  • Grinding, Sanding, Cutting, Painting
  • Experience with hand tools and power tools
  • Excellent oral and written communication skill
