DESCRIPTION/JOB SUMMARY

To perform assigned cleaning tasks to ensure that the facility is kept in a clean and orderly condition

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

*Dusting, mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, emptying trash receptacles, and sanitizing all assigned areas of the facility, including restrooms, using both manual and powered cleaning equipment

*Follow standard cleaning practices to ensure areas are properly cleaned and sanitized per work instructions

*Mix and dispose of all cleaning solutions appropriately and as directed

*Stock and maintain appropriate cleaning supplies in designated areas

*Report any issues immediately pertaining to cleaning materials, equipment, or issues in the facility that require repair

*Ensure all safety and security rules are strictly observed and any accidents, incidents or injuries are promptly reported to management

*Attend the Annual C-TPAT Security Training

*Focus on continuous improvement, and consistently demonstrate good business judgment

*Work effectively with all Pride departments to exceed internal and external expectations

*Assist with organization and cleaning of work area, keeping aisles and walkways clear at all times

*Pride retains the discretion to modify duties and/or assign other duties as necessary

REQUIRED SKILLS

*Must be a team player, friendly, detail-oriented, and honest

Must have the ability to:

*Multi-task, problem-solve, and prioritize in a fast-paced working environment

*Work under general supervision and direction from a lead person, supervisor or manager

*Rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals

*Push/pull/lift 40 lbs.

*Frequently bend, walk and climb (stairs) to complete daily tasks

*Use both powered and manual cleaning tools to complete daily tasks (broom, mop, and sweeper) including driving/riding on a sweeper and floor scrubber to maintain the warehouse and manufacturing floors

Must have:

*Relentless drive to achieve advancement and continuous improvement

*A willingness to learn and/or adapt to new work methods

*Good verbal and written communication skills

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

*No experience required

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

*At least 1 year of experience in a janitorial environment preferred

*Current or previous successful employment experience with Pride Mobility Products Corporation preferred

PREFERRED EDUCATION

*High School Diploma or GED
