DESCRIPTION OF WORK
Working alongside a dynamic team, you will function as a lead worker that is responsible and accountable for food service work in the performance of specialized production and cooking tasks for the youth and staff within the facility. You will be responsible for assigning and inspection of routine food production tasks performed by food service workers and student workers.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment
The Department of Human Services provides excellent benefits, pay increases, paid leave and holidays, as well as opportunities for career advancement.
Hours of work: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM (1st Shift) and 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM (2nd Shift) with rotating days off; 40-hour work week with varying 8-hour shifts to include weekends and holidays
Overtime and travel as needed.
May change based on operational needs.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirement:
There are no minimum requirements for the position. Desirable Preparation for Work: Experience in cooking or quantity food preparation; or any equivalent combination of experience and/or training.

A conditional offer of employment will require satisfactory completion of a medical examination.
This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
