Boyer’s Food Markets Inc. is one of the state’s remaining independent privately owned grocery store chains with 19 locations and 1200 teammates across Eastern PA.   Our company has been able to maintain a family oriented business while growing substantially since its inception in the late 1960’s.  We pride ourselves on our “Red Shirt Service” culture which promotes a friendly shopping experience for our customers and our “Shop Fast Save Money” layout and value found in our stores.

Our Deli department is evolving as our customers’ preference to save time and preparation has changed.  While the core remains the traditional deli case service our product line has, and will continue, to grow in ready-made hot and cold foods. 

In our Bakery department our teammates must strive to an increased level of creativity in order to compete with the customers’ wishes for not only great tasting but beautifully decorated cake and other items.

As a manager in one of these departments you must possess not only the skill to make these products but the business acumen to run a department that is sales driven and profitable.   The ideal candidate for these positions will not only have the deli/food service or bakery skill but a good base knowledge in such areas of inventory, cost control, merchandising, planning, prioritizing, and food safety.  With this base we will train to our company specifics.
