Job Summary
The Senior Business Analyst develops and manages detailed project plans for highly complex strategic initiatives; facilitates working sessions to document current state business processes; analyzes change impact on business processes and people across functional areas of the University; builds consensus on changes to process and able to document future state, services levels and role changes based on revised processes; measures, documents and manages project risks.
The Senior Business Analyst is a strong user of Visio, Excel and PowerPoint; must interact well across departments to help stakeholders visualize (develop slides that look highly professional) the opportunity and plan forward; and has technical knowledge related to infrastructure and networking and able to apply to recommendations and strategy.
Essential Functions
Program and project management, inclusive of organizational change management, resource management, schedule management and risk management.  Able to evaluate and apply tools that will be helpful in driving the overall success of the initiative and coordinate activities across project stakeholders.
Business analysis and documentation.  Must be a strong writer, detail oriented and creative.  Brings strong technical experience in guiding strategic direction.  Experience with business process analysis.  Capturing current processes and being able to collaborate with others to design future processes, how technology will support processes and governance.
Executive interaction and support, inclusive of board presentation, supporting.
Develop governance and training to strengthen department knowledge and capabilities.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of a bachelor's degree or
Minimum of three to five years of experience.
Physical Demands
Typically sitting at a desk/table.
