The tasks and responsibilities required of the Inventory Shift Lead are outlined below:

  • Responsible for setup and layout of product lines. (ex. number of temporary resources required, ordering processing specifics).
  • Provides assistance with training and developmental efforts.
  • Maintain open line of communication with Temporary Staffing Supervision on temporary associate performance issues.
  • Completes all documentation related to the processing of customer orders in a neat and accurate manner.
  • Completes tracking and efficiency reports using Microsoft office products.
  • Audits all processed product to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Exhibits safe behaviors and practices in the workplace to include wearing PPE.
  • Responsible to perform all duties in a safe, clean and organized manner.

The skills and qualifications required for the Inventory Team Lead are outlined below:

  • Must have one (1) year experience supervising and leading others.
  • Good written and strong oral communication. Bi-/lingual a plus.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office products (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong mathematical skills, work requires continual attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a team and motivate others to achieve department goals.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules. Operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to work daily and weekend overtime to meet business needs.
