(This Job Order is for an ALC-H2B process) Merion Golf Club, 450 Ardmore Ave., Ardmore, PA 19003. (610) 642-5600 ext. 3935. 20 Landscaping Laborers needed for TEMPORARY-Full Time employment. Will landscape or maintain grounds of property using hand or power tools or equipment. Will perform the following: seeding/sod laying, mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging and raking. No education required, no experience is required. Employer will offer 40hrs/week; Work schedule can vary and can include early mornings to early afternoon, weekend and holiday hours. Work may be performed on any day of the week from Monday thru Sunday and depending on weather conditions.  Workers are needed to begin work from 4/1/24 to 11/30/24. Job Location: Ardmore, PA. Workers will be paid no less than $18.71/hr; returning workers and workers with more experience may be paid up to $19.65/hr. Overtime hours may vary, depending on weather or other conditions, and will be paid at $28.06/hr and up to $29.47/hr.

Employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due.

Workers will be paid biweekly by check.

The employer will make all deductions from the worker’s paycheck required by law.

Optional shared housing is offered during this temporary time frame of April 1 thru November 30, 2024.   Cost of housing, is $300.00 per biweekly pay period and will be deducted from employee’s paycheck. Up to a $500 refundable security deposit is required, to be deducted from paycheck in equal $50 installments from employee’s paychecks. Additional optional benefits may be offered to worker, for worker’s sole benefit, including but not limited to medical insurance. If voluntarily elected by worker, employee costs/contributions for benefits will be deducted from paycheck.

If the worker completes 50% of the period of employment, the employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract where or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation & subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursed will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $15.46 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts.

Employer will reimburse in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing and other related fees including those mandated by the government (except passport fees). The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved.

Employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies and equipment required to perform the job.

Employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least 3/4 of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period.
