To demonstrate a high level knowledgebase for best-in-class installation of stone and solid surface materials, the Installer Apprentice is expected to uphold Eastern Surfaces Inc. best practices that ensure meeting management and customer expectations. 

1. Primary responsibilities:

• Basic construction skills including reading a tape measure and knowing how to use basic hand tools
• Must be able to safely lift heavy materials up to 200 + pounds
• Have a valid driver’s license without major violations in the last 5 years
• Be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening (pre-employment and random)
• Dedication to meeting the requirements of customers

2.  Secondary responsibilities:

• Maintain a clean and organized work area and vehicle. Work clean and clean up thoroughly in customer homes.
• Be a responsible driver. Follow ALL traffic laws and regulations. Never text or talk on the phone while driving a moving vehicle. See the PS Distracted Driving Policy.
• Maintain a professional appearance.
• Acquire and maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending required meetings and engaging in provided training.
