Sr Fraud Prevention Analyst

This position is RemoteWork from Home. You will need to reside (in, near, within) EST-Eastern Time Zone or CST-Central Time Zone or PST-Pacific Time Zone.

The Senior Fraud Prevention Analyst is responsible for the execution and delivery of reporting to help with the detection, investigation and mitigation of fraudulent activities committed against Cox Automotive and its customers. This role also serves as a Sr. within a support team so coaching on best practices and developing team members is critical. The team is customer facing so taking escalations and diffusing intense situations is also needed.

The Senior Fraud Prevention Analyst will champion actionable reporting solutions that help identify fraud patterns and protect the overarching customer experience. This role will partner with Sr. department resources to ensure the adoption and use of the reporting assets. Heshe will be responsible for helping to lead the prototyping of new reports and to evaluate fraud prevention techniques that mitigate risks and keep integrity within the Cox Automotive brands.

Build analytical reporting solutions to address business needs and questions.

Monitor customer activity to detect possible fraud and abuse by utilizing systems and tools to review fraud queues and additional work streams that can help provide insights into mitigation solutioning.

Upon identifying fraudulentnon-compliant ads, accounts, activities, transactions, or overall trends, complete the appropriate analysis and then help to develop a plan to protect the Cox Automotive brands.

Contribute to the development of data management strategies, policies, and best practices through participation in management meetings and other direct contributions.

Provide coaching to frontline team members on best practices that mitigate risks.

Troubleshoot issues with reporting assets to determine root causes of anomalies identified perform complex diagnostic analyses.

Handle escalations from customers and offer probable solutions to mitigate opportunities.

Write, maintain andor update queries (SQL, SAS, Python, or Spark) to develop analyses in response to queries.

BSBA in related discipline OR an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience

5 years of experience in related field certification is required in some areas

3 years of systems support data analysis experience

3 years of experience with PLSQL and accessing Oracle database structures

Previous experience with leadership, being a subject matter expert, and or coaching and developing team members

Working knowledge of common reporting tools (i.e., MicroStrategy, Alteryx, Tableau, Crystal Reports) Proven expertise in risk management, fraud detection, or investigations

Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, superior troubleshooting, and problem-solving capability

Ability to work on multiple projects and deliverables at the same time and work effectively in a team environment

Experience with business support software applications such as MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, Visio, Visual SourceSafe, etc.) required

Hours are extended and varied must have an ability to accommodate a flexible schedule and work weekends as needed
