Job Summary The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) monitors, evaluates and responds to patient needs under the direction of a Registered Nurse. The LPN demonstrates the knowledge and skill to provide care appropriate to the ages of patients served, including growth and development, assessment and interpretation of age specific data, treatments and communications. The LPN may care for infants, children adolescents, adults and geriatric patients depending on unit assignment.
Minimum Requirements Graduate of a practical nursing school or technical school.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and patient relations skills. Basic computer skills BLS
Preferred Qualifications One year experience as an LPN. Maternal Child Health experience preferred.
Licensure and Certifications Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Pennsylvania.
